EVEN MORE IMPORTANT
HAPPY (belated) NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
It's 2008, and I am MUCH MUCH further behind in the comic than I ever imagined I would get. The sudden illness of the Acer Demon (my laptop) didn't help things along any faster either. That, paired with the fact that I started a new job at Office Max and will soon be starting classes again, is the main cause of my utter failure at moving the comic forward. I've been trying to swing my life back into a solid routine, but everything is discombobulated at the moment and I can't seem to keep anything straightened out for more than a few days!
Despite the stress and the constant push and pull of this and that, I have plans to continue with the comic after a brief "working hiatus" (oxymoronic I know). What I mean by working hiatus is this:
[PART ONE: The Hiatus]
The comic can't be physically updated until I get everything reorganized and actually get around to being able to draw it again. The main problem is lacking the time and gumption to actually plan, panel and draw anything. It's getting to the point where even drawing the characters themselves is difficult, and that's not good! Getting back "in touch" with the characters and the storyline will take some time yet, but I plan to keep pushing it until it works out.
[PART TWO: The Working]
I have a million things to do before I can really get back to working on the comic directly. All these things affect the process indirectly, but need to be taken care of ASAP or nothing can be done! These things include: organizing the rough copies into files, re-uploading all the digital pieces
(the OS was wiped when the Acer Demon was serviced), getting my art supplies together and purchasing new ones (all my ink pens? Dead!), keeping a running log on the progress of the storyline, cleaning my workspace up and reorganizing it, purchasing a new computer that can handle larger loads of files and pictures and of course continuous practice with panelling, drawing, writing, scripting and HTML/CSS...just to name a FEW things.
I HAVE A LOT TO DO!

IMPORTANT!
Ah, so, if there wasn't already enough getting in the way of my updates my crappy ACER laptop has decided to die. I will need to send it in on Monday and I probably won't get it back until January (if I'm lucky)!
BUT, FEAR NOT- for I shall CONTINUE working on the pages and I shall CONTINUE updating the pages as often as possible, to the best of my ability. HOWEVER, nothing will be toned, since Photoshop is going off with my laptop. It's possible that I may do a few pages in OpenCanvas, in greyscale and maybe even one or two in color, but as it stands please expect black and white inks with minimal shading and possibly really, really crappy hand-done typography (OK, not that crappy, I've taken Typo/GraphicDesign once, I can do it by hand).
If it makes anybody feel any better, I do have many, many pages all planned out to finish up Chapter 1 and the script for all of Chapter 2 up until the part when the grand prize winner of the CONTEST appears. So, it's not like I'll be stuck making this stuff up. If anything gets in my way it'll be one or more of the following: (a) College... (b)Family (c)The holidays (d)Computer troubles (e)All of the Above...
BUT, things should go smoothly once I get all this computer nonsense wrapped up so I can get back to finishing up pages 8-15. :D

Happily Settled In + NEW banner
As for the move...
Indiana is great! I'm still unpacking though! @__@;
I did go out and splurge on a brand new scanner/printer/copier though- JUST SO I COULD UPDATE. I hope you are pleeeeeased. Now I just need to finish toning the next few pages and I'll be back on schedule...(hopefully)!
As for the banner...
Ah~so it's been ages since I CGed something like this. I think it's tons better than the old banner- what about you? :D

Bad Neeeeeews...(for the comic)
LOL. I'm totally moving to Indianapolis in about 3 weeks and so the comic is just not going to be updated for a long, long while. If I had my own scanner then MAYBE it would be EASIER...but I don't, so it isn't.
BLEH. Sorry to the people who were looking forward to more pages. I just need to scan a lot of them in. I'll try and do that when I get back from vacation (if they haven't packed it up yet! Gah!)....

Agh! I'm so sorry! As soon as I set deadlines for myself *POOF* it becomes impossible for me to meet them!!
I have the next few pages all inked out- but not scanned or toned. And I've got all the way to page 13 sketched/planned out- So, I'm not BEHIND on the WORK...just the updates! And I'm so sorry.
To all...15 of my fans out there, I apologize!
I'm graduating from HS on Friday and leaving to visit family in Texas for a few months after that. So it probably won't be until I get to Texas that I start updating.
*hopes relatives have scanner*
If they don't...I'll do it ALL DIGITALLY. O__o

Update Schedule (sort of)
Okay, so I figure instead of uploading things willy-nilly I should probably make a schedule. Well, I made one and I've already broken it...but that's in the past (30 seconds ago!) and we can't change the past...
SO...
Updates will happen regularly on Wednesday and Saturday. Sometimes if I can't make it by Wed night, I'll post Thur morning.
Remember! I'm on PST -8hrs so our mornings and nights may be different. LOL. I didn't realize this in the past...just thought I'd clear it up in advance.
